We Have Moved!
After a number of years in the Costco shopping center, J and J Needle Art moved to the recently developed Bakerview Square on the corner of Bakerview Rd and Eliza Ave in Bellingham, Washington. This location is more accessible to the freeway and is one of numerous specialty and local stores in the lovely new complex. We think you will enjoy our new store and also the variety of other businesses near to us.

Classes
Our classes are designed around our desire to give you, the customer, personal attention and care. Whether by yourself or with a friend or family member, we welcome the oppoturtunity to make an appointment with you to teach you whatever needle art you are interested in learning.
We offer individual and small group classes in:
Beginning knitting, beginning crocheting, needlepoint, cross stitch, hardanger, blackwork, and more!
We also offer assistance to our customers with patterns and projects outside of classes, too. If you need a bit of help understanding a pattern or finishing that special project just stop by and we'll see what we can do to help you out!
Upcoming Class!
Felted Slippers
Make a cosy treat for yourself or a great gift for a loved one. Are you a knitter looking for a fun and practical project? Felted slippers are it! If you know the four basics (knit, purl, cast on, bind off), you can make felted slippers. In two sessions we will teach you the basic techniques and give you hints as we each knit our own pair of slippers.
The kit, including the pattern and yarn, will be available at registration.
When: 2:00-4:00 pm, July 12th and July 19th
Cost: $40 + additional supplies
Instructor: Kendra Douglas
Location: J and J Needle Art
Register at J and J Needle Art. Space is extremely limited, so we recommend registering ASAP.
Please come to the first session with your yarn pre-wound
Think Outside the Sox Competition
This year Jeanine will be competing in the Think Outside the Sox competition. With over $20,000 in prize money, this is a great competition to get those creative juices flowing, using socks as your knitting canvas. There's over 26 categories to compete in, using a variety of yarns and styles.
